Wake up Call

Its been 2 years since my last post and time just flies.

With so much happening in India and around the world its time we all take a pause and think about the basic values and principles as a human. Not every difference needs to end in a fight, we as humans have other ways to make it right.

I wish for peace, harmony and love on this earth today and everyday.

PS: Your feedback and comments are highly appreciated and will keep me motivated to write.

For common man, its a struggle each Day,
To everyone, a few words i would like to Say.

To the next generation social youth, a question if i may ask,
Would you sacrifice 5 mins of your social life to do a task?

A task, to help the people, the society, the nation
You can avoid a complain, by making it your passion.

Our leaders and young freedom figthers sacrificed their life for our freedom,
Lets not waste their efforts and our life by calling service to community a boredom.

Its our country and we can help it shape the way we want,
Let us gain something and also a good reason for us to flaunt.

As humans, be open to change, spread brotherhood, unity and peace all around,
Lets respect the Ashoka Chakra in our flag and not cause it any wound.

The saffron strip in our flag denotes disinterestedness or reunication,
Lets unite together to acheive this and free the country from corruption.

Path of truth to guide our conduct is what the white strip represents,
Lets enjoy our freedom and make sure not to hurt anyones sentiments.

Green denotes our relations to the soil, plant life and mother earth,
Lets not spread trash, protect our nature and give it our warmth.

Now is the time, to wake up, to act
Stop cursing the system, try not to react

If you see something you feel is not right,
To correct it, you dont necessarily have to fight.

Unite with each other, to make this world a better place,
Or else you will not be able to talk to each other, face to face.

For my friends !! (2012)

During the times of Joy and Sorrow,
You are always there, today or tomorrow.

Each year, the bond shall grow strong,
Pardon me if i have done something wrong.

Without any reason, with you i may just fight,
Its just that with you, my heart feels light.

Until the world comes to an end,
I will always be there for you my friend.

Distance cannot classify you as far or near,
In my heart, you will always stay dear.

With this, i will leave some words for you to say,
Wish you a very Happy Friendship's Day.

64 saal pehle paayi bharat desh ne aazadi,
Jaabaaz Krantikariyon ne aapni jaan lagayi.

Aaaj iss desh ke hogyae hai tukde hazaaar,
Corruption, brushtachar umadta hai baar baar.

Iss swatantra divas par, har bhartiye ke liye ek chotasa sandesh,
Bahut hogayi baatein, kuch karo aur bachao aapna desh.

Baatein, comments toh koi ke karta sakta hai,
Door se dekho toh sab assan aur clear hi lagta hai.

As Mahatma Gandhi said, Be the change you wish to see,
For yourself and country, whatever you want to do, just go ahead, no one will ask you for a fee.

Manjil paane ki koshish mein tum raho hamesha bekarar,
Raasta nahi hai aasaan, thokro ka saamna hoga kahin baar.

Kuch bi ho jaye, himmat na haarna tum mere yaaar,
Aant mein, zindagi pe hoga tumhe aitbaar.

-GSA
Zindagi mein kuch paane ki humesha rakhna Chaah,
Chahey kitni bi dhondli hoon us manjil ki raah.

Bharosa aur Hosla aapne saath rakhna,
Kushi se pura karna aapna har ek sapna.

Sapney, sab dekthey hai, kuch badey kuch chotey,
Kuch usse has ke gale lagtey hai, aur kuch rootey.

Umeed ke daaman ka tum hamesha pakde rakhna haath,
Sache mann se karam karo, upar wala hamesha dega saath.

Hats off to all the women (100th International Women Day)

On occasion of 100th International Women’s Day.

Here are some thoughts, for which I picked up my pen,
These would have not been there, in a "life without women".

Starting a life, by giving birth to human, be it sunshine or rain,
No one else but only women can do it by bearing all the pain.

Doing for others selflessly and more, thinking about oneself at last and less,
She makes sure you do not get bore and prevents our life from being a mess.

She takes up all the challenges and helps nourishing a kid with utmost care,
Only a woman can do this beautifully as taking on new things she likes to dare.

She makes sure her kids get everything and for any need she does not make them bother,
She is the one who will sacrifice everything and be a great and responsible mother.

As part of the family she helps keep everyone together and brings reason for a great laughter,
No one else would have done that better except for a sweet and adorable daughter.

As a sister, she fights with her brother and pray for his good health and long life,
That makes the journey filled with twists, turns and leads to a memorable drive.

During difficult times, she sits by the side, shares the sorrow and helps you thrive,
That’s the most beautiful gift a man gets after wedding and that’s his wife.

The greatest thing about her is, all the things she does is with enthusiasm and full heart,
She makes sure everything is perfect and nothing is left incomplete on her part.

Women is the one who at every step takes all the pain,
Without her life would have been so dull and plain.

At times, both good and bad, she will be besides you till the end,
Support, help and cheering up is what she does being a good friend.

In the saga of life, she ensures at each turn the journey is pleasant and without any potholes,
Right from birth, to achieve this, she adjusts herself to plays all the different and vital roles.

Hats off to the most precious and sparkling gem,
Referred to as better half, and called Women.
